RSU 2 School Board Vacancy

SEEKING PEOPLE INTERESTED IN SERVING ON RSU2 BOARD OF DIRECTORS

There is a vacancy on the RSU2 Board of Directors that needs to be filled because of the resignation of a Board member from Hallowell.  If you are a Hallowell resident and are interested in leadership in RSU2 for your children and community, please consider this available position.  As a member of the Board of Directors, you will work with other board members and the Superintendent’s office to set school policy ad develop the RSU2 budget, both very important functions.  The position requires attendance in at least two meetings a month, the School Board meetings and the Policy Committee.

The position will be filled by an interim appointment by the Hallowell City Council and then would require a write-in vote on the November ballot.
