Recreation Commission
The Recreation Commission is a City commission established by Ordinance to provide policy and administrative guidance to the City Council and City Manager on the development, use and management of parks and recreational programs and facilities for the City of Hallowell.

We are collecting names of people interested in being “Friends of ________” for each of the areas, so please contact the Commission Chair at 207-530-2754 or hallowellreccomm@gmail.com if you are interested in keeping up with all the goings on in the parks and supporting them by keeping an eye on them and letting us know if anything goes amiss or is particularly appreciated.
