Request for Proposal for Granite City Park Crane Repairs

The City of Hallowell, Maine, is accepting sealed proposals for dismantling, repair, and reassembly of a historic crane located at Granite City Park. The crane is for display purposes only and not intended to be operational in any capacity. Potential bidders are encouraged to view the crane and its existing condition.

The proposal should include pricing for labor, equipment, and materials necessary to dismantle the crane onsite, remove existing timbers, fabrication of new timbers, disposal of existing timbers, and reassembly of the crane on site with newly fabricated timbers.

During the term of the project, the Contractor shall provide proof of general liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage. All work must comply with applicable OSHA safety standards. Contractor shall provide warranty information for materials and workmanship where applicable.
